“Ian, Chris and Tom launched Rethink back in 1999 after leaving DDB. They had an idea for an agency focused more on, well... ideas. Since then Rethink has been topping awards lists in Canada and internationally and helping their clients build brands.

I worked at Rethink in 2004 and then (as part of a team) hired them to create the launch marketing for Dose magazine. They were a pleasure to work for and to work with.

Rethinkers are an extremely creative bunch of people who care about their clients. In fact they care enough to put a portion of their fee in harms way through the Rethink rebate program...

From the Rethink website: "We believe agencies should be far more accountable for achieving results for their clients, which is why we created the Rethink Rebate. Once we agree upon a fee with a client, we set part of the money aside. Our clients then create a set of criteria based on hard sales numbers and other measures. Based on our performance, we're paid all, some or none of the Rebate. Each year, we have more money tied up in Rebates than we pay in rent."
