I do not have the words to explain my appreciation for being given the opportunity to participate in the Eco-Executives program at the Toronto Zoo. Working in the landscape industry, with past experience in the water industry, it has been easy for me to identify how irresponsible use of materials and energy can affect the environment. But, the uniqueness of the program offered at the Zoo brings the reality of these effects to life. Participants are educated on environmental effects and then intimately introduced to the animals that are most affected. It is a surreal experience.

The program is not about doom and gloom but rather about how new products and services can help reduce our impact on the habitat of those animals. Further to that, Quentin’s lineup of speakers displays how greening a business’s operations can actually save money and increase profitability. I do not know of anyone who has been able to use the words ‘increased profits’ and ‘green’ in the same sentence as Quentin.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to jump to the opportunity that Quentin has put in place at the Toronto Zoo. The Eco-Executives program is an environmental and financial win-win program set to teach business people that being more ‘green’ puts more green on their bottom line. I am appreciative of the opportunity and will work on the greening of our operations to better the environment and my company’s financial goals.
