There are a couple of nice places on King St. W. (closer to Peter St., opposite the Holiday Inn). My favourite is still the Red Tomato (or Fred's Not Here on the upper floor - similar menu, same owner). Their coconut shrimp are the best in the city, and their other dishes are great too. The other restaurants on that row are good too, and there is always Alice Fazooli's 1/2 block n. on Adelaide.
